The first clear sign of shah getting into the active and administrative side of politics when he left his Rajya Sabha seat got into direct representation in the Lok Sabha. From the starting, it was clear that Amit Shah will be the most important politician in the BJP when he won traditional Gandhinagar seat in Gujarat which also indicated that there will many changes to them within the party.
The second indication was when people noticed that Modi and Shah being together since the BJP won. When the election results were declared in 23rd May, both of them walked into the BJP’s Delhi headquarters together to greet and bless the party workers.
From these two signs, it is clear that duo Modi-Shah will be taken the politics to an advanced level When the tenure of Modi 2.0 arrives at an end in 2024, Modi will be 73 years of age. Given the standard rule he has set for the BJP Party — of encouraging those over 75 years old to resign from active
it will be the ideal opportunity for the BJP, in case the party wins next time lok sabha election, to appoint its successor. Will today’s cabinet minister be tomorrow’s prime minister? It is a line of thought worth pursuing.
