After the battle of words with Mamata Banerjee now Mayawati respond Modi on his SP-BSP alliance statements.
Earlier, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee said that “I have seen many PMs but never seen a bigger liar than Modi. He is a bad influence on young minds.” she also said that if Modi comes back to power, he will destroy democracy. Modi gave a long rebuttal to Banerjee’s “slap of democracy” jibe by saying that “Didi says she wants to slap me. Didi, you are like my elder sister. I love and respect you. Your slap is a blessing to me. I take it in my stride.”
After this BSP supremo Mayawati on Friday titled as “laughable” and “immature” Prime minister Narendra Modi’s remark which describes the SP-BSP alliance as “casteist”. The former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh said that the language and terms used by the BJP showed it has realized “definite loss in polls” and is “frustrated” and making baseless and absurd allegations which are not proved.
She claimed that The BJP is not coming to power again and Modi’s dream to become ‘Prime Minister of India’ again will not be fulfilled.
In a tweet, Mayawati stated that the allegation that SP-BSP alliance is ‘casteist’ is senseless as PM Modi is not from the backward class so he does not know the pain of casteism. Further adding she said that such statements should not be used. In her words: “our alliance is casteist is not only laughable but immature also. Narendra Modi, who is not backward by birth has not faced the pain of casteism. Such a remark for the alliance should have been avoided, as it is not correct”.
Mayawati also claimed that PM Modi include himself as in Forcible backward classes and she also mentions that what RSS has done to leaders like Kalyan Singh. She states that: “Modi indulged in casteism by describing himself ‘zabardasti ka pichhda’ (backward). Had he been backward by birth, the RSS would not have let him become the PM. What RSS has done to leaders like Kalyan Singh is known to all.”
Instead of raising the level of allegations against the alliance, Mayawati said, “Modi should have looked at Gujarat where I have come to know, Dalits cannot lead an honorable life. A Dalit man was not allowed to ride a horse during his wedding.”
Not only this, but she also charged Modi by saying that “Atrocities are committed on Dalits in Gujarat.” Recently in a rally in Uttar Pradesh, Modi had accused the BJP and SP of indulging in caste politics.
