Avengers: Endgame Box Office Collection Day 5: set to cross Rs 200-crore mark in India

Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest release Avengers: Endgame is now ready to overtake some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters in India. The film may exceed the box office collection of Bollywood movies Dangal, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sanju by the end of its first week, reported film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

Taran Adarsh said “#AvengersEndgame is trending much, much better than #Hindi biggies… Will cross *Week 1* biz of #Dangal Rs 197.54 cr, #TigerZindaHai Rs. 206.04 cr and #Sanju Rs. 202.51 cr on *Day 5*… All set to challenge *Week 1* biz of #Baahubali2#Hindi Rs. 247 cr. India biz.”

The superhero film Avengers: Endgame earned Rs 31.5 crore on Monday and taking this collection to a total of Rs 189.7 crore. The film is looking forward to earning another Rs 30 crore on Tuesday and it will bring its total collection to Rs 219 crore approximately. Movie Released in India on April 26, the movie has since then broken several records including many Bollywood superhits at the ticket counter. Endgame has also exceeded the opening weekend box office collections of its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War and Baahubali 2. In Compare Infinity War had collected Rs 94.30 crore in its first weekend, and by contrast, Avengers: Endgame, collected Rs 157.20 crore, claimed by Taran Adarsh.

Apart From this, Avengers: Endgame also crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in just two days of its release. In comparison, India’s biggest blockbuster Baahubali 2 had taken three days to achieve the same task. According to Taran Adarsh, Avengers: Endgame is all set to have the highest ever opening weekend.

Avengers: Endgame released across 2,845 screens in India in many languages named as Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu. Endgame is the 22nd superhero movie of the Marvel Studios. In the last series of movie, Marvel superheroes come to terms with their defeat in Infinity War and team up against Thanos, which is the mega-villain of Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film have Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark aka Iron Man, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America, Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr Strange, Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel and many others.
