For any political party, it is necessary to have a great leader who has the potential to change, to modify, to make Leaders who are astonishing. Bharatiya Janata Party has a man with great potential, Mr Amit Shah.

 

Early life

Amit Shah a very well-known name in Indian politics. Amit Shah is the president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Amit Shah was born on 22nd October in the year 1964 in Mumbai, India. Amit Shah was born in a Gujarati family. Amit Shah’s father had a successful business of  PVC pipes.

Amit Shah did his schooling in Mehsana in Gujarat and was graduated from CU Shah Science in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He was graduated with a first-class B.Sc. degree in biochemistry. After completing his graduation, he started working for his father’s business. Amit Shah then worked in co-operative banks in Ahmedabad and also as a stockbroker.

Amit Shah joined RSS(Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) in this early childhood and was a participant of the Shakhas in his neighbourhood. During his college, he became the volunteer of the RSS Swayamsevak. Amit Shah met Narendra Modi through RSS in 1982. Narendra Modi was RSS Pracharak and was the youth in charge at that time.

The political career of Amit Shah

In 1983, Amit Shah became the leader of the student wing of RSS, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, then in 1986 Amit Shah joined BJP. In 1987, Amit Shah being an activist member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha was posted on various designations like ward secretary, state secretary, Taluk secretary, General Secretary and Vice President as well. In the Indian General Elections of Lok Sabha 1991. He campaigned with Lal Krishna Advani in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

In the year 1995, Keshubhai Patel from BJP became the Chief Minister of Gujarat, this was the first time when BJP formed the government in Gujarat . At that time in rural areas of Gujarat, people were highly influenced by Indian National Congress party which was the main rival of BJP. Amit Shah Along with Narendra Modi worked very hard and strategically by finding the second most famous leaders. By convincing those leaders to join BJP in every village. Both Amit Shah and Narendra Modi joined 8000 influential leaders of rural areas. Narendra Modi and Amit Shah continued to work effectively for BJP over the next few years.

In 1997, Amit Shah won the by-election from Sarkhej and thus became the MLA. In 2001, Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi worked outstandingly by giving tough competition to the rivals. In Narendra Modi‘s government,  Amit Shah Emerged as the most powerful leaders in Gujarat.

Amit Shah’ role in Indian general elections,2014

Amit Shah played a significant role in the General Election of 2014. Amit Shah was given the charge for campaigning in Uttar Pradesh and Amit Shah did that with outstanding applause. Amit Shah’ s hard work paid off by BJP winning 73 seats from 80 seats in U.P.

Amit Shah Campaigned door to door in U.P and realised that how voters experienced the ongoing government. Amit Shah personally handled the candidates and covered 76 constituencies. His team used 450 vans that were equipped with GPS to remote into the rural areas. Amit Shah’s strategies help BJP government in 2014 Lok Sabha election by BJP winning 282 seats in the Lok Sabha and not single party was able to win minimum seats for being the official opposition party.

Amit Shah as the president of BJP and Achievements

BJP’s central parliamentary board unanimously made Amit Shah the president of BJP in July 2014 and again in January, 24th 2016. After becoming the president of BJP, he marvellously claimed 100 million members in the membership drive. Under Amit Shah leadership, BJP won Elections in states like Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Haryana, Maharashtra Legislative Assemblies. In 2017, in the election of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, BJP won outstanding 325 seats from 403 seats.

In Gujarat, BJP won the election 6th time in a row under Amit Shah’s leadership. Amit Shah is the kingmaker, a planner, a president and an outstanding leader.
